All monitoring and evaluation documents that relate to COP26 free travel pass. If this information can not be provided, please could you provide any individual documents which relate to the monitoring and evaluation of the COP26 free travel pass for delegates. If this information can not be provided, could you tell me if Transport Scotland completed any monitoring of the travel pass?

The answer to your question is detailed below. This is a summary of the transport evaluation figures in relation to delivering COP26 in Glasgow.

COP26 Smartcard Travel Passes

28,146 Travel passes issued, of which 20,156 were used on the network 78,712 trips made by bus / tram / subway Approximately 62,700 return trips (235,126 single journeys) undertaken on rail (this is approximated as not all stations have exit gates to collect smartcard data)

Conference Shuttle Bus Demand (smartcard used as a show and go)

101,784 passengers carried by the conference shuttle bus On average 8,030 passengers/day (31st Oct to 12th Nov) were carried by the conference shuttle bus.
