You asked for the percentage of properties currently connected by the R100 programme in the Northern section.
Response
Reaching 100% (R100) Contracts:
As of 30 September 2022, connections were delivered to 2,640 of the 60,764 properties included within R100 North contract build plans. This represents 4.3% of the total planned build for the R100 North contract.
You may also be interested to know that Openreach has delivered an additional 645 fibre-to-the-premises (FTTP) connections as a result of ‘overspill’. This is when Openreach has been able to connect a number of properties not within build plans as a result of contract deployment in an area.
Reaching 100% Scottish Broadband Voucher Scheme (R100 SBVS):
As of 12 October 2022, 34,364 properties within the R100 North lot area were considered eligible for a voucher through the R100 SBVS, with 1,473 connections delivered so far. This represents 4.3% of the eligible properties. It is also worth noting that 419 of those connections were delivered through utilisation of interim vouchers and, therefore, remain eligible for connection through the R100 North contract.
