Information requested

Does Scottish Government require its staff and volunteers (if any) to be vaccinated against COVID-19?

Is vaccination against COVID-19 an element in COVID Health and Safety Risk assessment?

If yes? Are individuals who decline to disclose their COVID-19 vaccination status or are classified as unvaccinated requested to use any additional health and safety measures (testing, masks or 2m distancing) that their vaccinated colleagues are not because the safety measure of vaccination is unavailable?

Response

The answer to your question is that Scottish Government encourages staff to take up the offer of vaccinations but does not require or mandate staff to be vaccinated against COVID-19 in order to attend the workplace. We do not ask staff to disclose their vaccination status.
