People employed within the Civil Service for the last ten years: FOI release
Information requested
How many people have been employed within the Civil Service for the last ten years. Please could you provide this as a total number for each financial year beginning in 2013-14 to present. Could you also provide the total cost each year for the salaries of that group of employees.
Response
Clarification was sought as to what was meant by employed by the civil service. You asked for information for Scottish Government and Core DGs.
You also asked for Social Security Scotland as well as Constitution and External Affairs providing separate information pertaining to these two organisations.
I attach the information for Core Scottish Government and Social Security Scotland. Constitution and External Affairs is a directorate within SG Core and so is included in the SG Core figures.
