Govanhill Baths development Trust: FOI release
Information requested
How much funding has been given to Govanhill Baths Community Trust, and all subsidiaries, by the Scottish Government and any other funding bodies from 2001 to present.
Response
The Scottish Government does not have all of the information you asked for because some information will have been routinely destroyed in accordance with the organisation’s Records Management Policy. Consequently, under Section 17(1) of FOISA we do not have all of the information you requested.
After conducting a search of our records for all organisations within the scope of your request, we have found records of £1,279,298.53 being provided to Govanhill Baths Community Trust, only, in funding by the Scottish Government. This covers the period from 2009 to present.
While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the Scottish Government is not able to provide you with the definite figures you have requested, or details of funding from any other organisation. The reasons why we do not have the information is explained in the Annex to this letter. ANNEX REASONS FOR NOT PROVIDING INFORMATION

In line with our standard records management practices, information and records shall be retained only as long as they are required to support the Scottish Government in its business requirements and legal obligations. In the instance of paper copies of payment records, any such records within the scope of your request will have been destroyed 7 years after closure. We are also unable to provide you with details of funding from any other organisation, as it is not the responsibility of the Scottish Government to record or maintain this information.
