Response
The Gender Recognition Unit was established in July 2021 as the Bill team responsible for policy and administration related to the Gender Recognition Reform (Scotland) Bill. The staffing costs since it's inception (from July 21/22) up to financial year (to end March) 2022/23 have been calculated at £540,656. Costs include employer's pension and National Insurance contributions.
