Q1. Can you please list the number of devices deployed by your organisation for the following? Device Type Number of Devices Desktop PCs 0 Laptops 300 Mobile Phones 25 Printers 6 Multi Functional Devices (MFDs) 9 Tablets 0 Physical Servers 9 Storage Devices (for example: NAS, SAN) 5 Networking Infrastructure (for example: Switches, Routers, Interfaces, Wireless Access Points) 4 Security Infrastructure (for example: Firewalls, Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Virus Monitoring Tools) 2 (SAAS Firewall + LogRythm)
Q2. Does your organisation have plans to procure any of the below services, if yes then please provide information in the below format? Estimated/Total Cost Duration Example: Platform as a Service 1 million 2023/28 For all questions below, SAAS are currently in the early stages of a cloud migration project and we are currently negotiating with our Scottish Government Partners around the use of some of their Cloud Hosting services for some elements of cloud migration (e.g. our SAAS Website). Other options are also being considered but we are not expecting to carry out any external procurement at this stage a. Cloud computing N/A b. Software as a Service (SaaS) N/A c. Platform as a Service (PaaS) - N/A d. Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) N/A e. Anything as a Service (Xaas) N/A
Q3. Does your organisation have any plans to procure the below services, if yes then please provide required information in the below format? Estimated/Total Cost Duration Example: IoT security 0.5 million 2023/28 For all questions below, SAAS use the Scottish Government service for all of our Desktop, Network, Infrastructure and Security Services (SCOTS) and all of the below items are covered by our Scottish Government Partners. The responsibility for all of these services lies with them under the current arrangements. There are no immediate or future plans for SAAS to move away from this arrangement and we are therefore not expecting to carry out any external procurement for any of these services. a. Q4. Does your organisation have any plans to procure below services, if yes then please provide information in the below format? Estimated/Total Cost Duration Example: Data and Analytics 8 millions 2023/27 Data and Analytics - No N/A AI and Automation - SAAS are currently working with our Scottish Government Partners to develop some RPA (Robotic Process Automation) however this is under a current contract with an automation supplier and there are no plans for SAAS to procure AI or automation from anywhere else at this stage. N/A Digital Transformation - SAAS are currently undergoing a number of projects under Digital Transformation however the majority of these will be delivered in house. As mentioned in Q2 above, we are currently negotiating with our Scottish Government Partners around the use of their Cloud Hosting services for some elements but any proposed future procurements are unknown at this stage and unlikely to involve any external procurement.
