The following information on PR and Comms: Q1: For the years 2022-2023 how much was spent on external companies to handle public relations and communications? Please provide:
The total cost 2022-2023 financial year. The amount of money paid to each firm (including VAT)
Q2: For the years 2022-2023, how much was spent social media advertising, including a breakdown by year and by form of social media (e.g. Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.)

Education Scotland’s annual accounts for 2022-23 were laid in Parliament on 27 July 2023 and will shortly be published on our website here: Annual reports and accounts
Question 1 No payments were made in 2022-23 to external companies to handle public relations and communications.
Question 2 There was no spend on social media advertising during 2022-23.
