All internal and external correspondence within and sent or received by the Scottish Government including attached documents, meeting handouts, memos, briefings to ministers, attendee lists, location of meeting, notes, minutes, or OneNote memos, linked to the following meetings: 1a) Michael Matheson's meeting with PetroChina and PetroIneos on August 4, 2022 1b) Michael Matheson's meeting with the Offshore Wind Supply Chain Summit on August 22, 2022 1c) Michael Matheson's meeting with Sir Ian Boyd on August 30, 2022.

I attach a copy of most of the information you requested in Annex A to this letter. While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance we are unable to provide some of the information you have requested because exceptions under section 29(1)(a) - the formulation or development of government policy; section 30(b)(i) – free and frank provision of advice; section 30(c) - prejudice to effective conduct of public affairs; section 33(1)(b) – commercial interests; and section 38(1)(b) – personal data of a third party of FOISA applies to that information. The reasons why these exemptions apply are explained in the Annex B to this letter. About FOI
