Please note the points below; 2022 Basic Payment Scheme (BPS) payments started in September 2022. Some 2022 BPS claims are still to be processed and this is reflected in the figures. The BPS eligible area has been derived from the declared area in the Single Application Forms (SAFs). Therefore any land that is not declared in a SAF is not included. Each year, excluding 2022, there have been a number of manual BPS payments. Due to the way these payments are processed it is not possible to break down the value by region.
