1. How much did it cost to translate the Scottish Government Commitments to Gaelic and Scots and a Scottish Languages Bill into Scots and Gaelic with a breakdown of these costs?
Language Cost English £1,201.49 (Formatting) Gaelic £1,326 (Formatting £1,142.93 and Proof Reading £183.07) Scots £2,877.37 (Formatting £1,117.37 and Translation £1,760)
2. How much has the consultation into the Scots language cost so far and what is the estimated costs of it overall? In addition to the translation costs a further £519.91 was incurred for printed copies. 3. How many responses have you had to the consultation up until now (the date of this FOI)? 352 4. Who did you hire to undertake the Scots and Gaelic translation of the bill? There is no Bill at this stage and therefore I am assuming you are referring to the consultation. The Scots translation was undertaken by Scots Language Centre and Gaelic translation done in house by a member of staff. About FOI
