Food for Thought Education Fund: FOI release
Information requested
In relation to interest in Education Scotland’s Food for Thought: Education Fund (Phase 9).
"Under the freedom of Information Act, can you tell us what percentage of successful applicants came from the Local Authority sector / Private Sector / Voluntary Sector".
Response
Education Scotland had 91 successful applicants. The breakdown is as follows;
4 were from the private sector – 4.39%
2 were from the Grant Aided sector – 2.19%
85 were from Local Authority – 93.4%
Please note that private Early Years Centres / Nurseries that are in partnership with their Local Authority have been included in the Local Authority figure.
