1. Budget for the Energy Efficiency and Renewables loan and cashback scheme was:

2021-22 - Loan - £9,300,000 Cashback - £14,000,000 2022-23 Loan - £14,000,000 Cashback - £28,000,000

2. Budget for local authority energy efficiency and green heating schemes (Area Based Schemes) 2021-22 – £64,000,000 2022-23 - £64,000,000

3. Budget for Warmer Homes Scotland 2021-22 – £50,000 2022-23 - £55,000

Each eligible household is offered a bespoke package of measures (heating and insulation measures) that takes account of both the needs of the property and the needs of the household. Eligibility for the scheme is based on “proxies”, certain benefits such as ESA and PIP which are an indication of the likelihood of the household living in or being at risk of fuel poverty.
