Employment details regarding Ferguson Marine Shipyard: FOI release
Information requested
1. How many workers (which should include employees, contractors, subcontractors) based at the Ferguson Marine Shipyard in Inverclyde are there in total? 2. How many of those workers are foreign nationals who domiciled outside:
Scotland; and The United Kingdom?
3. How many foreign national workers have been brought into work specifically on the two ferries, namely the MV Glen Sannox and Hull 802?
Response
1. In total there are 640 workers- this includes core, agency, sub-contractors, cleaners, security staff. 2. There are 6 foreign nationals who domiciled outside Scotland and the United Kingdom. 3. For vessels 801 and 802, labour has been supplied by the contractor GMES. They were awarded a package of work with 59 currently on site. About FOI
