'Consultants fees’ is an unspecific term so for the purposes of answering your request we’ve calculated the total expenditure identified as relating to ‘Consultancy Services’ in the Scottish Government accounting system. The table below summarises the total value of the invoices held on our financial reporting system for consultancy services expenditure by the core Scottish Government. This is broken down by the financial years 2019-20, 2020-21 and the current 2021-22 financial year up to and including 28/02/2022:
