Information requested

The number of Right to Rectification applications the Scottish Government have received in the last 5 years, with a breakdown of each year.

Response

The answer to your question is:

2017 – 0 (the right to rectification was included as a data subject right under the General Data Protection Regulation from May 2018) 2018 - 0 2019 - 1 2020 - 3 2021 - 0 2022 (to date) – 1

As you can see we have received very few requests to rectify inaccurate personal data since 2018. Only one was taken forward - we did not hold the information required in the other cases and the people were made aware of this. About FOI
