Scottish Scams Prevention Partnership: FOI release
Information requested
Information relating to the loan process for Home Energy Scotland. 1. The attendees of the first meeting of the Scottish Scams Prevention Partnership that took place in autumn 2021. 2. Any funding that has been given to the Scottish Scams Prevention Partnership for 2021-22, 2022-23, 2023-24, 2024-25 and 2025-26. 3. Any actions that have been implemented by justice agencies across Scotland as a result of the work of the Scottish Scams Prevention Partnership.

Answers to these questions are included below: 1. A list of attendees to the first meeting of the Scottish Scams Strategic Partnership that took place in Autumn 2021 is given in the minutes which are available online Scottish Scams Strategic Partnership - gov.scot (www.gov.scot). 2. To support the delivery of the Scams Prevention Strategy which is part of the Consumer Scotland Policy and Advice budget. £480k has been allocated so far in 2021/22 to projects that support the strategic actions and delivery of the strategy. Funding for future years is subject to Parliamentary consideration and agreement of the Scottish budget. A breakdown of spend on specific projects can also be found online at Scottish Scams Strategic Partnership - gov.scot (www.gov.scot). 3. An overview of the Scottish Scams Strategic Partnership is given on the Scottish Government website Scottish Scams Strategic Partnership - gov.scot (www.gov.scot). The Partnership is intended to support collaboration amongst individual partners in terms of maximising synergies and issues such as sharing intelligence.
