Advisory Council for Economic Transformation official meetings: FOI release
Information requested
To provide the dates on which the Advisory Council for Economic Transformation have met since July 2021 and provide any meeting notes or ministerial briefings that have come as a result of these meetings. Any remuneration that members of the Advisory Council have received for their services.
Response
The Advisory Council have had four official meetings since July 2021, these meetings took place on the following dates:
22/07/2021 26/08/2021 22/09/2021 27/10/2021
The minutes for these meetings are publicly available via the gov.scot website under the publication section https://www.gov.scot/groups/advisory-council-for-economic-transformation/ as the information requested is otherwise accessible this request falls within the scope of exemption under section 25(1) of the FOISA. The contributions provided by Advisory Council members were incorporated into the drafting process of the National Strategy for Economic Transformation following Advisory Council meetings. Any Ministerial briefing provided as a result of Advisory Council meetings have informed the content of the National Strategy for Economic Transformation and therefore fall within the scope of exemption under section(s) 29(1)(a) of FOISA - Formulation/development of government policy of FOISA applies). The National Strategy for Economic Transformation will be published shortly. Since initiation of the Advisory Council for Economic Transformation in July 2021, no members of the group have received remuneration for their services.
