Cost of GCS (Government Car Service) in 2020 and 2021: FOI release

What has been the cost of the GCS (Government Car Service) in 2020 and 2021? (This final bill will include chauffeur salaries, employer's contributions, fuel, vehicle maintenance, private hire and travel and subsistence). How many cars are in the GCS fleet? How many of those cars are electric or hybrid models? How many journeys did the GCS make in 2020 and 2021?
Response
There are 28 vehicles on the Government Car Service (GCS) fleet; 11 electric (EV) and 17 plug in hybrid’s(PHEV’s). GCS operating costs, inclusive of salaries, employers contributions, fuel, vehicle maintenance, private hire and travel and subsistence, are provided in the table below.
