Total funding provided for Early Learning and Childcare (ELC): FOI release
Information requested
What is the total funding amount which is being provided for the entire Early Years Learning and Childcare policy? I.e. the additional amount referred to in the letter is in addition to what other amount? If possible, I would appreciate that information being provided as a breakdown per local authority.

Attached is a copy of a table which shows the Early Learning & Childcare (ELC) total funding per year from 2017-18 to 2021-22 broken down by local authority. This includes both the additional funding detailed in the letter of 1st May 2018 to which you referred and also the ELC funding within the General Revenue Grant to local authorities.
