Business Ventilation Fund applications: FOI release
Information requested
1. At the time of writing, how many businesses have applied for this fund? 2. How many of these applications have been accepted? 3. How many of these applications have been rejected? 4. If any applications have been rejected, please provide explanations on why that is the case?
Response
Between the 23rd November and the 8th December, 166 Business Ventilation fund applications, out of those, 75 applications have been awarded in principle, 13 applications declined and 78 are awaiting a decision. The decision to decline the applications were that 7 did not fall within an eligible sector and 6 failed the pre-screening checks or were missing non domestic rates from their application form.
