Information requested

“In accordance with The Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002, we should be grateful if you could confirm if Transport Scotland have a policy in place for the return to work of employees who are recovering from Long Covid. If such a policy is in place, please confirm the details of the policy.”

Response

Transport Scotland as an executive agency of the Scottish Government (SG) and as such adhere to the policies of the SG. Transport Scotland do not have a standalone policy in relation to Long Covid and returning to work. An employee who is returning to work recovering from Long Covid would be treated in the same way as other long-term absences. This would be in line with the SG Attendance Management Policy.
