The amount of money spent on building council houses since 2016, broken down by calendar or financial year depending on how the records are held.

Response

While the information you have requested in respect of the three financial years 2017-18 to 2019-20 is already publicly available within our annually published Outturn Reports, we have collated the information for the five financial years into the attached table for your easy reference. Please note that the figures for 2020-21 are provisional and could be subject to change prior to publication within the 2020-21 Outturn Report later on this year. Please also note that while the majority of council homes delivered are new build, there can also be off the shelf purchases and rehabilitation projects of existing properties.
