Information requested

Please provide a month by month breakdown of the total number of bookings for the Managed Quarantine Services in Scotland since 15 February 2021.

Please also categorise this information by the location of the hotel.

Response

The UK Government (UKG) are the principle contract owners and managers of the Managed Quarantine Service (MQS) and its suppliers for the whole of the UK. The Scottish Government has access to the booking data which is based on those who have booked into Managed Isolation however this may adjust as people amend their bookings. As of 28 September 2021, 9,054 travellers have booked a stay in managed isolation from February to September.

A breakdown by month, location and amount of travellers booked can be found in the table below.
