Whistle blowing concerns raised by employees in Transport Scotland: FOI release
Information requested
1. The number of whistleblowers who have come forward to the agency in each financial year since 2019/20, to date.
2. The number of whistleblowers who have left the employment of the agency since raising their concerns, the reasons for their departure and whether they were subject to a confidentiality clause in any severance agreement.

The Scottish Government does not maintain records on the subsequent outcomes or personal circumstances of individuals who have raised whistleblowing concerns. Where whistleblowing concerns are received, the focus of our record-keeping is on the handling and consideration of the concern itself, rather than tracking or monitoring the later experiences of the individuals involved.
