Response

Attached is acopy of the information you requested for the academic years 2016/17, 2017/18, 2018/19. We have provided the average tariff for all available tariff methodologies:

Total Tariff Complementary Tariff Grade-neutral Tariff

Please refer to the “Notes” section in the attachment for further information on the difference between these tariff methodologies. While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance we do not have some of the information that you have requested. Your request was answered using the Insight dataset, which does not contain information on Dyslexia. We only hold information on whether or not pupils have Additional Support Needs (ASN). The Education (Additional Support for Learning) Scotland Act 2004 (as amended) states that a child or young person has an additional support need (ASN) where they need additional support in order to benefit from school education. In Insight, pupils with ASN are identified by the time spent away from mainstream education (i.e., where a pupil receives specialist support). Where a pupil receives less than 80% of their education in a mainstream setting, they will be recorded as requiring additional support. About FOI The Scottish Government is committed to publishing all information released in response to Freedom of Information requests. View all FOI responses at http://www.gov.scot/foi-responses.
