Information requested

Whether the individuals who have been vaccinated will have subsequent PCR or LFD tests, and how often?

Are these tests and their results included in the daily counts?

Response

All vaccinated individuals who are part of routine repeat testing programmes (either lateral flow or PCR testing) should continue to take part in that testing. Also, anyone that develops COVID-19 symptoms after being vaccinated should book a test in the normal way.

All PCR test results are included in the daily data published by the Scottish Government here: Coronavirus (COVID-19): trends in daily data - gov.scot (www.gov.scot)

The policy on publishing Lateral Flow test results in official statistics is being developed and as such these results are not currently included in the published daily data.
