1. What role has KPMG played in planning organisation of the delivery of the COVID-19 vaccine.

2. How much has KPMG been paid for performing this role?

Response

1. Given the unprecedented demand on health services and the need to run both the flu and COVID-19 vaccination programmes, KPMG were contracted to provide administrative support on planning and delivery. This included setting up a programme management office which was handed over to the Scottish Government three weeks after the programme was formed. All procurement has been robust, transparent and fully in line with legislation.

2. The value of the contract is £640,000.
