Football banning orders issued in Scotland statistics: FOI release

You asked for information regarding the number of football banning orders issued to fans in the 2017/18, 2018/19 and 2019/20 seasons in Scotland and also the specific number from each club in Scotland if available in order to provide a clearer picture with relation to each individual club.

From our files we have identified that the Scottish Government holds the following information regarding the number of banning orders in seasons 2017/18, 2018/19 and 2019/20 and numbers broken down by club. It is important to note that these figures were obtained during 2018 and 2019 from Police Scotland and the final figures would not have been known at the time the information was provided.
The Scottish Government is not responsible for the collation of football banning orders across Scotland. Police Scotland collates and holds football banning order information and we strongly advise that you contact them to obtain final figures for the years you are interested in.
