Out of these 4,649 deaths, how many were there where COVID-19 was recorded on the death certificate as the 'primary cause' of death?

Response

The answer to your question is that of the 4,649 deaths in Scotland where COVID-19 was 'mentioned' on the death certificate, there were 4,289 where COVID-19 was recorded as the underlying cause of death.

The figure is from a spreadsheet published by National Records of Scotland as part of their Deaths involving coronavirus (COVID-19) in Scotland publication on 4th November.
