The answers to your questions are as follows;
How much money is available in the Gaelic Capital Fund and when was it set up?
The Gaelic capital fund was announced at the Royal National Mod in 2009. The budget for 2019/20 is £4m.
What are the criteria for accessing the fund?
The fund is open to Local Authorities who are looking to expand or start Gaelic provision in their area. Projects that have been supported reflect the scale and development needs in each area and have included an array of capital needs from extensions to existing sites, demountables, IT and standalone schools.
On occasion, the fund has been able to support community developments.
How do people apply to the fund?
The Local Authorities must submit a fully costed proposal.
What spending has taken place from the fund since it was set up (I would like this to be itemised)
