First Minister’s trip to Shetland: FOI release

You asked for Could I request the following under freedom of information legislation:
• The total cost of travel and accommodation for the First Minister’s August 2019 trip to Shetland (including any accompanying staff). • A list the First Minister’s meetings, visits and events in Shetland for the August 2019 visit (not including party political engagements). • Copies of any briefings prepared for the First Minister for her August 2019 visit to Shetland.
Response
With regards to your request, no costs were borne by the Scottish Government as the August 2019 visit to Shetland was undertaken on a party political basis. Therefore, no Scottish Governement briefing was provided for engagements undertaken in Shetland.
