With regard to the first part of your question, the Scottish Government provides an operational budget to the Scottish Futures Trust on a yearly basis This is made up of a core grant and adjustments agreed by Parliament at Autumn and Spring Budget Revisions (ABR and SBR) for various portfolios of work.
In 2018-19 the Scottish Government provided Scottish Futures Trust with a core grant of £4.5 million and additional £4.551 million in changes at ABR/SBR. The total resource budget paid by the Socttish Government to Scottish Futures Trust in 2018-19 was £9.051 million.
The breakbreak down of these payments is shown in Table 1 below.

Regarding the second point to your question, the £0.2m “other income” came from Public Interest Directorships (13 in total) undertaken by senior staff at Scottish Futures Trust who sit on various project boards. There was also a smaller amount obtained through the secondment of an employee to Strathclyde University.
