Information requested

The amount of money spent by the Scottish Government on stationery in each of the last 24 months, with a breakdown of the amount spent on each stationery product.

The amount of money spent by the Scottish Government on cosmetic and/or fashion in each of the last 24 months. This can include clothes, make up, vanity products, or anything else related to cosmetics and/or fashion. I would like this information to include who the products were for, if they are ministers in the Scottish Government.

The amount of money spent by the Scottish Government on tea and coffee in each of the last 24 months.

Response

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the Scottish Government does not have all of the information you have asked for. The spend information that we have provided is based on the tax years for 2017/18 and 2018/19.

The amount of money spent by the Scottish Government on stationery:

Please find attached in Annex 1 a full breakdown of stationery spend for both years.

The amount of money spent by the Scottish Government on cosmetic and/or fashion:

Year Cosmetic and/or fashion 2017/18 £16,346.21 2018/19 £17,275.51

This spend relates to uniforms (trousers, jumpers, shirts, fleeces and outdoor clothing) for security officers and house teams staff only. We do not have any other information on cosmetic and/or fashion expenditure.
