Transport Scotland spend on repairing potholes: FOI release
Information requested
The total amount that has been spent on repairing potholes on the following trunk roads (A1, A75, A77, A9, A96, A83), broken down into a table to reflect every financial year since 2021-22.
Response
While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance Transport Scotland does not have the information you have requested. Transport Scotland does not have the information you have asked for because maintenance costs are recorded for the whole trunk road and not broken down into types of maintenance or repair.
This is a formal notice under section 17(1) of FOISA that Transport Scotland does not have the information you have requested.
This exemption is not subject to the 'public interest test', so we are not required to consider if the public interest in disclosing the information outweighs the public interest in applying the exemption.
Below is a table providing the whole maintenance spend for the A1, A75, A77, A9, A96 and A83 trunk roads, broken down to reflect every financial year since 2021-22.
