Numbers of settled immigrants by religion: FOI release

You asked for
1) how many Immigrants the UK has taken in during the last 3 years?
2) how many are Muslim and how many are Christian?
3) how many are settled in England and Wales, and how many are settled in Scotland?
4) how many of the Muslims are Shia, and how many are Sunni?

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the Scottish Government does not have the information you have requested.

The Scottish Government does not have the information.
The Scottish Government does not have the information you have asked for because Information on number of immigrants to the UK is produced by the Office for Nationals Statistics.
Although overall number of EU nationals are published by the Scottish Government, estimates from the Annual Population Survey most recently at the link below.

It is not possible to provide estimates of EU nationals who have indicated they are Muslim from this source.
