1. To ask the Scottish Government how much money has been allocated/given towards ending homelessness to City of Edinburgh Southside Churches in:- A. 2015, B. 2016, C. 2017, D. 2018

2. To ask the Scottish Government how much money has been allocated/given towards ending homelessness to City of Edinburgh Council in:- A. 2015, B. 2016, C. 2017, D. 2018

In addition to the money listed below, funding was also provided to the City of Edinburgh Council in the form of the Local Government Finance Settlement. It is for the council to determine the purposes to which that funding is allocated, but should include its homelessness services provision. A. 2015/16 - NIL B. 2016/17 - NIL C. 2017/18 - £90,000 D. 2018/19 - £335,500

In 2018/19, the Scottish Government has allocated up to £6.5m from the £50m Ending Homelessness Together Fund for the 5 cities involved in the Housing First Pathfinder Programme. An element of this funding will be provided to the City of Edinburgh Council once the programme is fully up and running and the number of tenants receiving support is confirmed.

3. To ask the Scottish Government how much money has been allocated/given towards ending homelessness to All City of Edinburgh Charities in:- A. 2015, B. 2016, C. 2017, D. 2018

A. 2015/16 - £520,747 B. 2016/17 - £547,086 C. 2017/18 - £488,933 D. 2018/19 - £654,000

These figures include charities that whilst are based in Edinburgh, have a national remit covering the whole of Scotland, therefore the money allocated may be used on a national basis.

4. The Scottish Prevention of Cruelty to Animals rescue and rehome vulnerable animals (*sometimes animals are looked after better than people). To ask the Scottish Government how much money has been allocated/given towards investment in Animal Welfare to City of Edinburgh Charities in:- A. 2015, B. 2016, C. 2017, D. 2018
