Response

I enclose a copy of some of the information you requested.

The answer to your question is that we can share the final report from the citizens’ jury, produced by PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). Although no longer available to access on the PwC website, we consider this information within the scope of your request as this is a record of a formerly publicly available document. No redactions have been applied to this document.

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the Scottish Government does not have most of the information you have requested.

The Commission into the future delivery of public services in Scotland did not commission the citizens' jury referenced in your enquiry. The jury was undertaken independently from the Scottish Government by PwC, and delivered by BritainThinks (now Thinks Insight & Strategy). The jury was referenced in the Commission into the future delivery of public services final report.

As such, we do not hold information pertaining to your questions at 1, 2, 3 and 5, as noted above. However, you may wish to contact PwC (telephone +44 (0)7483 422416), and/or Thinks Insight & Strategy who may be able to help you. The reasons why we do not have the information are explained in the Annex to this letter.
