A "true copy" of the terms and conditions of Employment for a Civil Servant. A "true copy" of the document signed by Civil Servants which binds them to the Official Secrets Act and the terms thereof.

We can provide you with information for staff working as Civil Servants for the Scottish Government. Civil Service Terms and Conditions must align with the Civil Service Management Code which can be found at the following link; https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/civil-servants-terms-and-conditions
A copy of the schedule of Principal Terms and Conditions for Civil Servants in the Scottish Government is attached below. This schedule also includes a guide to the Official Secrets Act which new employees are expected to read and agree to on signing their acceptance of the Terms and Conditions.
Please note that there may be variations to the Terms and Conditions for certain roles within the Scottish Government, for example for our control room staff who work shifts rather than the standard hours.
