These meetings involved discussion of the Children and Young People (information sharing) (Scotland bill) Under FoI, I would like all information and correspondence held by the government about a letter, issued to the parliament's education committee, on November 6.
The letter was distributed to members of the media by Scottish government special advisers that evening and it is attached to this email.
Please disclose:
Any correspondence between government officials, and external organisations, regarding drafting, contents or initiation of the letter. This should include organisations that did not sign the letter as well as those that did. Any previous drafts of the letter held by the government.
Details of any meetings or other contact (i.e. phone calls) with external organisations at which the letter was discussed, in advance of publication.
Any internal government correspondence regarding the letter, its timing and publication, including any correspondence between special advisers and officials/SG staff, such as communications staff.
Response
Any correspondence and arrangement details of the mentioned meetings are in Annex A. I have provided the meeting notes in Annex B that the Scottish Government hold on the meetings you have stated in your request. Please note that there were no official minutes recorded for many of these meetings as they were informal discussions about any issues each organisation had on the Information Sharing Bill or to provide information and answer any queries they might have.
