Information requested

Response to appeal of review of FOI/17/01247

Further to my letter of 4 December you asked for clarification on some matters concerning your appeal to the Office of the Scottish Information Commissioner (OSIC) on 2 September about your request under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 (FOISA) for communications between the Scottish Government and Teach First.

Response

Please accept my apologies that the versions of the documents sent in my letter of 4 December did have a different style of redactions to those sent earlier to you and that some additional names were redacted. These documents have now been revised to reflect what was given to you at the review stage plus the unredacted text. In the three documents with redactions there has been a small bleeding of ink which could not be avoided but has not obscured any relevant text.

We have also decided to release the full text in document 23 and are no longer applying section 30(c) "otherwise prejudice effective conduct of public affairs".

I have revised the table to reflect these changes. The revised documents are attached to this letter.
