Response

We do not hold a record of all requests made to the media regarding changes to their copy. While we do not have a comprehensive historical record, I enclose a copy of email exchanges which do exist and do fall within the scope of your request.

In addition, one colleague provided a return saying they spoke to the Press Association on Saturday, October 28 requesting a change to an article. The piece was on the First Minister's statement to parliament on a pardon for men convicted of sexual activity that is now legal. The copy said the statement was to be made on Tuesday, October 31. Press Association were ask to change this to Tuesday, November 7, the correct date and the amendment was made.
