Response
I enclose a copy of the information you requested.
While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance we are unable to provide some of the information you have requested because of exemptions under section 38(1)(b) (personal information) of FOISA applies to that information. The reasons why that exemption(s) applies are explained below.
You may wish also to note that some of the information supplied is exempt under s38(1)(a) in that it is your own personal data. We have supplied copies of the data that is exempted under this latter section as it would be unhelpful to you to supply it separately under s7 of the Data Protection Act 1998.
Reasons for not providing information
An exemption applies.
An exemption(s) under section(s) s38(1)(a) (your own personal information) and s38(1)(b) (personal information relating to a third party) of FOISA applies to some the information you have requested. Disclosing it would contravene the data protection principles in Schedule 1 to the Data Protection Act 1998. This exemption is not subject to the 'public interest test', so we are not required to consider if the public interest in disclosing the information outweighs the public interest in applying the exemption.
