Information requested
You asked for details of how many freedom of information and EIR requests the Scottish Government did not publish on their website at the following link, broken down by September, August and July 2017: SG Publications. You would like to receive any information, if it exists, on why these particular FOIs and EIRs were not published.
Response
The Minister for Parliamentary Business announced in Parliament on 21 June 2017 that we are "taking steps to ensure that all information released in response to information requests is also published online from 3 July." Therefore, only responses which released information are published on the beta.gov.scot website. The following table shows the number of FOI/EIRs responses which did not release information - either because the request was invalid, the request was refused (ie an exemption applied to the information) or the requested information was not held - and were therefore not published on the website. As requested, this has been broken down by July, August and September of this year.
