Information requested

Please provide me with dates of contacts and copies of any letters, emails, notes of meetings and or phone calls between the officers of Scottish Government (probably Ms Aileen McKechnie) and the Scottish Funding Council (probably its then chief executive Mr Laurence Howells) between 19th February and 31st October 2015 in respect of (a) the suspension of the Principal at Glasgow Clyde College (b) the Scottish Funding Council's statutory governance review under Section 7(7)C of the Education Act 2005, as amended (c) and the appointment of a new board at Glasgow Clyde College as announced by Cabinet Secretary in Parliament on 8th October 2015 . If any of these meetings or phone calls were "informal", please state whether or not these were recorded in the diaries of the Scottish Government officers.

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance we are unable to provide some of the information you have requested because the Scottish government do not hold this information or an exemption(s) applies to that information. The reasons why that exemption(s) applies are explained at the bottom of this letter. Some of the information is provided at Annex B and any attachments that where embedded in correspondence are provided in Annex C.
