This page includes a link to a detailed breakdown of the statistics; the Attainment Statistics (August) 2017 spreadsheet. You may wish to note that the August data release represents pre-Results Service data. Data reflecting the final position will be published in December.

According to data published by SQA on 8 August 2017, the total number of entries for courses at SCQF level 5 (National 5) was 293,220.

Of this total 108,700 (37.1%) candidates attained an A pass and 69,735 (23.8%) candidates attained a B pass.
