Information requested

The highest and lowest gross household incomes which have resulted in a successful Help to Buy (Scotland) application.

Response

The Scottish Government does not hold details of the highest and lowest gross household income supported through Help to Buy (Scotland) (HTB). We collect information by gross income band of households supported through sales log forms used to monitor the characteristics of buyers supported through Help to Buy (Scotland). 41% of the sales log forms were returned in the period September 2013 to March 2016.

I can confirm that the lowest income band supported through the Help to Buy (Scotland) scheme was £10,000-£15,000 and the highest income band supported was over £100,000.
