Information requested
You asked for all documentation held by the Scottish Government, including correspondence sent and received (including internal), minutes/notes from meetings, briefings, and analysis, about the UK Government's affordable housing delivery targets, between October 15 2025 and January 15 2026.

I enclose a copy of most of the information you requested.
While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance we are unable to provide some of the information you have requested because an exemption. This applies to one document which has been withheld under section 30(b)(i) of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002, as it contains free and frank internal advice provided by officials in relation to media handling and the development of lines for external communication. Disclosure of this information would be likely to inhibit the provision of such candid advice in the future, as officials require a private space to discuss options and provide advice to support effective decision‑making. While we recognise the public interest in transparency, we consider that, on balance, the public interest is better served by maintaining this private space.
