Operator connect licensing agreement with Gamma telecom query: FOI release

If this operator connect licensing agreement with Gamma telecom was extended as per the option, and if it is intended to review the RFP or extend again.
Response
I can confirm that the contract with Gamma Telecom was extended in line with the extension option contained within the current agreement, covering the period from 17 October 2025 to 16 October 2026. There is no provision within the current contract for any further extension beyond this period.
In November 2025, the Scottish Government issued an Invitation to Tender through the Telephony and communication services dynamic purchasing system for Operator Connect services to replace the existing contract from October 2026. This procurement process is still ongoing, and no contract has yet been awarded. Accordingly, no further information is available at this stage. A public contract award notice will be published on Public Contracts Scotland once the procurement has been concluded.
