Data regarding the cancellations of NorthLink sailing between Lerwick and Aberdeen: FOI release
Information requested
Over the last five full calendar years (2020 to 2025), how many times per month has a NorthLink sailing between Lerwick and Aberdeen (and vice-versa been cancelled” and “in the cancellations referenced in my previous question, please give the reason for the cancellations and how frequent they occurred in each month”. In addition, you subsequently asked “how much has been reimbursed to passengers (customers) per month for cancellations on the NorthLink ferry service between Lerwick and Aberdeen (and vice-versa) over the last five full calendar years (2020 to 2025)?

I enclose a copy of all of the information requested for the period of 2020 to 2025 in an attached PDF document.
Regarding your additional request “how much has been reimbursed to passengers (customers) per month for cancellations on the NorthLink ferry service between Lerwick and Aberdeen (and vice-versa) over the last five full calendar years (2020 to 2025)?”, while our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the Scottish Government does not have the information you have requested. However, you may wish to contact Serco NorthLink Ferries at CustomerServicesDepartment@northlinkferries.co.uk who may be able to help you. The reasons why we do not have the information are explained in the Annex to this letter.
